Here's something that both men and women can do
our first project is "Glass etching"
Things you will need for this project
A bottle of armour etch..............almost any craft store has it
exacto knife........................found at most craft stores
scotch tape...................................almost any kitchen drawer has a roll or 2......... LOL
VINYL shelf liner with a peel off backing

You can get your stencils at a craft store or go online to

1. Place your stencil over a piece of the vinyl shelf liner and attach it to the shef liner with scotch tape.

2. cut the stencil carefully with a exacto knife.

3. clean the glass with rubbing alcohol.

4. Peel the backing of the vinyl and secure it to the glass.  Make sure there are no bubbles by rubbing
them out with fingers and thumbs.

5. with a artist bruch (model car brush) cover only the area of glass with the etching design.

6. let sit for 10 minutes and rinse glass with tepid (luke warm) water

7.remove vinyl and reclean glass.

YOU MAY HAVE TO DO THE PROJECT 2 OR 3 TIMES TO GET IT THE WAY YOU WANT

tips
Use a "self healing" cutting board to cut stencils
 If vinyl dosent tear you may re use it
Rarely move your exacto bladewhen cutting if you cut the vinyl to a manageable size you can turn the stencil
and let the stencil do the work.
scrap booking embellishments will give you a lot more design detail.
